Happy New Year!!
I know its almost the end of January but I haven’t posted anything since before Christmas. This is mainly due to being blissfully trapped in the euphoria of Christmas time, settling back into work, getting my intentions right for the year ahead, sorting the kids…. you know how it goes….
I felt I needed to write something as its been so long but truth be told I didn’t know what to write about. I well and truly have a wall, barricade, block when it comes to putting pen to paper at the moment. I think it comes down to the fact that I have been so focused on the run of the mill stuff that my creative spark has dimmed a little.
Usually I have so many ideas about what what to write that I can’t stop myself from scribbling down ideas in the middle of the day or night for that matter. Unfortunately, this has not been the case and I don’t want to write, just to write. That is not the reason I started this blog neither is it the sort of person I am. The last thing I want to do is to get into the habit of posting any and everything and all kinds of crap. If what I share with you all doesn’t have meaning, purpose or if it isn’t written with the right intention which is to inform, entertain and/or inspire then you wont be seeing it on MeMrsBe.com.
So just to wrap things up, I assure you the writing will be back soon. I just need to start finding the right direction for the blog and to dedicate time too it. Not sure what that is yet but its safe to say that the short journey we have been on thus far has been fantastic. 2018 has started out very positively for me and I just want to leave you with two tips before I go and sort out my two little ones who sound like they have created an adventure playground in their room.
- Upgrade your downtime (I love this phrase) – DO NOT spend it cleaning, doing laundry, doing extra work or anything else that brings stress. Expand your knowledge, read, exercise, have a massage, do anything that allows you to feel tranquil and relaxed…you deserve it.
- YOLO- time wakes for no one. If you have an idea, if you need to take a risk, do it, jump into the unknown. If your idea doesn’t work, at least you tried, dust yourself off and get back up-those falls, stumbles, trips are all ground into the path to success.
Much Love to you all x
